V5 (ブイ ファイブ, Bui Faibu), originally an UTAU, is a Japanese vocal for the DeepVocal engine.
History[]
V5, originally known as "JAMESLOID", was an UTAUloid created in 2020 and released in 2021.
His "JAMESLOID" voicebanks all utilized CV-type banks, while his V5 banks utilized VCV. Development for his DeepVocal bank began on November 18th, 2021. In addition to the Japanese voicebank, an English voicebank is planned.
On December 18th, 2021, his voicebank was officially released, one month after development began.
Character[]
V5 is a half-human/half-demon teenager who enjoys singing as a hobby. He can reincarnate at will, but chooses not to, calling it "too boring." The "5" in his name is meant to represent his fifth reincarnation, and his partner, Ghosty, represents his previous forms.
