RAYA is a Japanese vocalist for the DeepVocal engine.
History[]
2017[]
RAYA's first voice bank was made on UTAU and showcased on YouTube towards the end of 2017. It was a VCV voice bank using 3 different appends (WIND; a normal tone, RAIN; a whisper tone and STORM; a powerful tone), each append being monopitch. It was released as a beta voicebank.
2020[]
A new VCV 5-pitch voice bank was recorded for RAYA on UTAU in January, and was used a few times without any release. It still can be heard on an UTAU+voice provider cover of fly me to the star.
A beta English voice bank for UTAU was also recorded in February and showcased once.
All the UTAU unreleased voice banks were lost in April because of an external hard drive loss; it has been decided next voice banks would be on DeepVocal for convenience.
In December, her "origin", "breeze" and "reverse" voice banks were released for DeepVocal.
Character[]
RAYA has no set character or design for the user to freely use her or imagine her their own way.
Appearance[]
RAYA's default design has long, dark, wavy hair with bright blue eyes. Her hair is tied in two low pigtails. She wears a blue suit with mid-long sleeves, the suit ending in shorts with a piano keyboard pattern. Many white strips are printed on the suit. She also wears a white belt with a yellow ribbon accessory, holding a transparent blue-to-purple gradient cloth. She wears a white, sleeve-less shirt under her suit. She has a pair of white pumps with blue-to-purple gradient high thighs. She also has multiple flower crowns, above her chest as well as on her ankles, flowers being mainly blue, yellow and pink with green leaves. She wears a pink flower accesssory on her head, holding a small, metallic mic right next to her mouth.
