OLUNE(折 る 音) is a Japanese voicebank created for the DeepVocal engine.
History[]
OLUNE was originally called Mandrake Olune. His voice bank was launched for NiaoNiao and UTAU, being one of the first NiaoNiao bank to have 3 voice extensions.
However, after launch of OLUNE, the focus was only for DeepVocal.
OLUNE was tested in Portuguese, the native language of the voice provider but the bank was temporarily cancelled.
Currently at the time of writing (21st Feb 2021), a new voice bank in a project called OLUNE XS is being developed for the Japanese language, but a demo version is available for download.
Character[]
The character is a red panda, though originally it would be a tanuki. A new design is possible and expected for the character.
Etymology[]
His name,OLUNE or 折る音 has two meanings, O-LU-NE (Shadow moon Order). 折る-音 (Smash Sound)
