Minamiya Akiko (南宮明子) is a vocal for the upcoming DeepVocal engine. She was developed and voiced by Chaiko.

History[]

Minamiya Akiko originated as an UTAU, with her first voicebank being released on October 31, 2014. Following this she recieved numerous updates including both Japanese and Chinese voicebanks.

An intial sample of Minamiya Akiko's voicebank for DeepVocal was posted to Twitter by Chaiko on June 23, 2019. This featured her v0.8 voicebank.

Two weeks later, on July 5, an image was posted showing the voicebank had updated to v1.0, as well as later that day an audio sample of the voicebank.

On July 7, a full demonstration video was posted featuring Akiko's v1.2 voicebank singing a cover of "Hitohira no" by Nori-P. Currently she is available to download privately, though it is unclear when her final voicebank release will be.
