Haiame-Sen (灰雨セン | はいあめーせん) is a Japanese/Mandarin vocalist for the DeepVocal engine.
History[]
Pre-2019[]
Haiame-Sen first debuted for the UTAU engine on August 31, 2014 . His primary language is Chinese Mandarin, however he had multiple Japanese and Hokkien(a southern Chinese dialect) voicebanks.
For the NIAONiao engine, he has three released voicebanks; Japanese and Chinese and Hokkien.
2019-2020[]
On June 23rd, 2019, he was announced to have a Japanese vocal in production for the DeepVocal engine.
On 5th July 2020, Haiamen-Sen's Japanese went into open beta and was available for download.
On 15th August 2020, Sen received a Mandarin Chinese voicebank as well and is avilable for download.
2021[]
On 2nd February 2021 , Sen's Japanese received an update and is now available for download.
Concept[]
Etymology[]
His name is in Japanese. When translated to English, "灰雨セン" means,
灰 (Hai) - Gray
雨 (Ame) - Rain
セン (Sen) -The official explanation is "千(thousand)"
His surname, "灰雨," means the same in Chinese as it does in Japanese.
Appearance[]
Sen is an anthropomorphic wolf, being the first anthropomorphic (or "furry/furloid") character to be announced and produced for the DeepVocal engine. His official race/species is described on his website as "anthro form wolf." Sen's fur is gray with a white underbelly. He has black paws, digits, and accents. His attire is typically depicted as an off-white colored formal suit accompanied by a typical singer's microphone and a pair of small glasses. Underneath his suit he wears a white collared shirt, a black tie, and a black belt with a silver buckle. He has jade colored eyes.
