Anta Shizuko (静子アンタ | Shizuko Anta) is a Japanese vocal for the DeepVocal engine.
History[]
Anta was initially released as an UTAU voicebank on December 23rd, 2010, and has received regular updates since.
Her DeepVocal voicebank was announced through the creator's Twitter account on July 13, 2019, and was unofficially released on July 22, 2019 on the creator's website.[1]
The creator of Anta has announced they will be expanding her language capabilities in the future.[2]
Character[]
Anta is very naive and innocent, walking the edge of childishness and stupidity. She loves talking to others but becomes shy around more intellectual people. Anta has three younger siblings and a twin brother, taking her "big sister" duties very seriously (to the point where she feels the need to look after people who aren't her siblings). Despite having a special weak spot for cute girls, she is considered a polyamorous pansexual and can be paired with anyone, regardless of gender/sex.
Etymology[]
"Anta" has no particular meaning, while "Shizuko" means "quiet child" in Japanese.
Appearance[]
Anta has long brown hair and blue eyes, typically wearing a bow or headband of some sort. While her outfit changes for each voicebank type, her main DeepVocal attire is a blue and white Lolita-style dress with ruffles in the front, compared to her UTAU design where the ruffles are on the side.
